In the Meiji era, there was a young man who could be called a genius at creating incense.
His name is Yujiro Kito.
He was fascinated by the floral scent of Western perfumes.
I took on the challenge of creating an incense with this Western scent.

Even if he solidifies his perfume and lights it on fire, it does not give off any fragrance.
Solid incense is burned with heat of 500 degrees, giving off an exquisite aroma.
The ultimate technique of creating incense was perfected in Japan.

After much trial and error, Yujiro finally created an incense stick.
The scent was unlike any other Japanese incense.
"This is perfume incense. Flower incense."
Yujiro named it ``Perfume Fragrance Hana no Hana,'' and this is how ``Hana no Hana'' was born.

Over a hundred years since its birth,
``Perfume Incense Hana no Hana'' laid the foundation for today's floral incense.
It continues to be loved by many people even now.
